About Trailhead Integrative:

Trailhead Integrative Therapy is here to help you navigate life’s challenges—big and small. Whether you’re managing stress, transitioning through major life changes, or seeking personal growth, we’re here to support you.

Guided by evidence-based practices and a deep respect for your unique story, Trailhead blends traditional modalities with creativity, connection, and the grounding power of nature. My experience as a literature teacher and mentor taught me the transformative power of stories—how they help us make sense of our lives and connect us to something greater. Combined with years of work in mental health nonprofits and crisis counseling, this foundation shapes a therapeutic space where your story is honored, and meaningful change is possible.

Life often places us in the in-between—the world waiting between the wish and the thing—and that’s where our work begins. Together, we’ll uncover your path forward.

About Blake…

I remember taking a test on MySpace sometime in the early 2000s that said my ideal career was a life coach! At that time in my life, there was no way that was accurate; so, naturally, I posted the test results to my social media page. I didn’t know what else I wanted to do anyway, and honestly I was a little upset with myself for not having majored in music like all my friends had. I considered it a joke at the time, but I never forgot. MySpace was planting seeds.

I graduated with a BA in Literary Studies with an emphasis in Secondary Education from UT Dallas and a teaching license in Texas in 2010; I went back to study a Master of Liberal Studies degree at Southern Methodist University until 2012, diving deeper into my devotion to the struggles and triumphs of the human condition; and I received an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University in 2024, capping off what I’ve come to see as a decades-long experiential study in applied humanities up to this point. I’m also a National Certified Counselor from NBCC and a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate in Colorado.

Equally important in the trajectory of my own story, for most of those early years I felt completely lost. I knew I had a calling, but I couldn’t find it. It wasn’t until both my physical and emotional health hit breaking points that I was able to see things clearly, but all those details are for another space. For 25 years, I’ve considered myself a
collector of life stories, and that very much defines the type of therapist I am now: You are the expert of your own life, and I’m a thoughtful companion. Authenticity, effective communication, and the ability to see things from another’s perspective are among the tenets of my practice and my approach to life in general. Not a single one of us lives the same reality as anyone else. That’s an amazing gift with limitless possibilities.

So…

What’s your story?

My Approach

It all begins with a conversation—a safe, open space to explore where you are and where you want to go. Maybe you’re looking for clarity in the face of a life transition. Maybe you’re ready to transform old patterns and create something new. Or maybe you’re simply searching for balance and a sense of purpose in the day-to-day. Whatever it is, the steps you take here can make all the difference.

Growth

Every meaningful change starts with self-awareness and reflection. At Trailhead, we nurture your growth by exploring your strengths, uncovering your values, and setting intentions that resonate with your unique path.

Change doesn’t happen alone. Just like a compass provides direction, I’m here to help you navigate challenges, transitions, and the uncertainties of life. Together, we’ll find clarity and create a plan that feels right for you.
